During Foster Care Fortnight, we took some time to celebrate the amazing work our foster carers do every single day. This annual event is a wonderful opportunity to recognise and appreciate the dedication and commitment of our foster carers, whose tireless efforts make a profound difference in the lives of children and young people.

We enjoyed a delightful three-course meal, which provided the perfect backdrop for sharing our Fostering Moments—those small, everyday experiences that make fostering so unique and special. It was heartwarming to hear stories of joy, growth, and connection, highlighting the incredible impact that foster carers have on the children and young people they support.

The event was a great reminder of how passionate, hardworking, and inspiring our foster carers are. They go above and beyond to ensure the safety, growth, and happiness of the children and young people in their care. Whether it’s helping with homework, providing emotional support, or simply being there to listen, our foster carers embody the very best of what it means to nurture and guide the next generation.

Our Registered Manager, Anthony Turner, expressed his admiration for our foster carers, saying: “Events like these make me so proud of the community of foster carers we have.
